The Portuguese ace was not happy when asked about Messi's penalty against Celta Vigo, and left the pre-match press conference in anger.

It seems that Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't want to be compared with Lionel Messi in any way, and he left proof of that during Tuesday's press conference.

While addressing the media prior to the UCL clash against Roma, the Portuguese striker seemed to be annoyed by a number of questions. The first question that got to him had to do with his up-and-coming form, since he hasn't been as dominant as he used to be.  The player's response was quite sarcastic.

"I deal with this in a very normal way. I've 'spoiled' people for many years. It's like when you have a child, you give them everything he wants and he's OK, but once you don't, he starts crying. You were used to watch me play a certain way, and now that I'm not doing it, you're not crying, but you write too many lies about it," Cristiano stated.

Another journalist inquired him about why fans can't see the BBC attack getting along the same way as the MSN players do. The Portuguese player showed his discomfort, stating that there's no need for them to show that.

"When I won the UCL with Manchester, I wasn't that close to Ferdinand, Scholes or Giggs. All those meals, kisses and hugs are not worth anything if you don't win on the pitch. We're just professionals. It wouldn't make a difference if Bale came to my house and had dinner with me. We like to focus on the pitch, and that's that," the player added.

But when another journalist asked him about Messi's antics against Celta, when he chose not to score a penalty and ended up setting up Suárez for a hat-trick, Ronaldo seemed to lose his cool.

"I'm going to be very precise: I know why Leo did it. I'm not going to say anything else, you can think whatever you want"

Passions seemed to be quite high during the press conference, but CR7 had it when another journalist inquired him about his lack of goals while playing away from Santiago Bernabeu. After replying with another question, the Portuguese striker left the room fuming.

"Tell me one player that has scored more away goals than me since I started playing in Spain. Just one. That's it, you don't have one"
