Have Barcelona fans been given the biggest hint that Lionel Messi will play in El Clasico, on November 21?
The Argentine striker injured his knee in their 2-1 win over Las Palmas in late September, and was thus ruled out for the trip to Santiago Bernabeu due to a predicted eight-week layoff.
However, the 28-year-old has been on the sidelines for under 8 weeks, but made his return to first-team training on Monday, giving the Liga BBVA leaders hope that he will feature in Saturday’s clash with Real Madrid.
Now, pics have emerged revealing the new pair of Adidas boots that the four-time Ballon d’Or winner will wear in the latest edition of El Clasico, all but assuring the fans that the Barcelona number 10 will make his return from injury at Los Blancos' home ground.
With only 3 goals to his name this season in the Spanish top-flight, having missed 5 games, Leo will be aching to make his return from injury as soon as possible. Check out the pics of his new boots below.
However, La Pulga will not be the only superstar sporting new footwear for the weekend heavyweight clash.
Rival Cristiano Ronaldo, who will play in what is believed to be his last Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu, was recently handed new Mercurial Superfly boots by Nike, which he will most likely wear on Saturday, with the hopes of adding to his tally of 15 goals against the Catalan giants.
I'm in love with my new Free Mercurial Superfly‼️
