Iconic hairstyles are a big thing in football, so much that a simple change to one’s player’s look may cause the world to stop.
So, for example, if you wore dreadlocks and then decided on going bald, this move would cause a stir on social media, expectedly.
And no, we are not referring to David Beckham.
Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna, famous for his dreadlocks and his blond highlights, decided on undertaking a drastic makeover, shaving off the entirety of his hair before posting his new bald look on social media.
Of course, this did cause a stir, but there were other factors that played into that.

The French right-back was trolled and made fun of on Twitter for the new look, but a majority of the bully came from Arsenal fans.
Is it just a coincidence that the Gunners faithful are trolling a player who left the Emirates on a free deal to join a rival club? It’s highly unlikely.
The legions of Arsenal supporters can take closure from the fact that Sagna’s career has gone downhill since his Emirates departure, featuring in only 790 minutes of play in the English Premier League.

The lengths Sagna will go to do to give himself an edge at City. Could have retired a legend at Arsenal. pic.twitter.com/AxwwW9clKY
