So heated was their clash, it was almost reminiscent of their Bayern-BVB days, when the German and Polish stars were enemies.
Video has emerged showing die Roten team-mates Robert Lewandowski and Jerome Boateng butting heads in a heated bust-up during a training session on Wednesday.
As reported by TZ Online, the two had a collision during the training, one which the German defender reacted angrily towards, as he “wanted to go for” the 26-year-old striker.
Club captain Philipp Lahm, alongside fellow defender Mehdi Benatia and Rafinha, had to step in to defuse the situation, before manager Pep Guardiola ordered the two to the lockers in rage over the clash. Watch the incident in the video below.

An angry Pep Guardiola sends the duo to the lockers
This is just the cherry on top of the ice cream in what have been a horrible past few weeks for the Bundesliga champions, who are currently on a three-game losing streak in the domestic league, a career first for the club's Spanish manager.
