Pitch invaders have always been a part of football, with their antics ranging from cute, to irritating, to amusing, to just creepy.
There have been plenty of such incidents in La Liga, with Barcelona's opening match versus Elche being the stage for yet another pitch invasion.
Except this time, it was not a human, but rather an animal. Specifically, a black cat--a creature that many who are superstitious associate with bad luck.
And social media, as always, quickly reacted to the incident.
