Teletica owns the free-to-air broadcast rights in Costa Rica for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The terrestrial television broadcaster has the rights to show 32 live matches from the competition, which is taking place in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Teletica's deal for these World Cup matches is a non-exclusive one, as the pay-TV platform, Tigo Sports, has the rights for all 104 games taking place at the tournament.

As part of these 32 matches, Teletica has the rights to eight Round of 32 matches, four Round of 16 games, two quarter-final matches, both semi-finals and the final. A total of 15 group stage matches will also be shown on Teletica.
Teletica's live match coverage of the 2026 World Cup is exclusively in Spanish. This includes pre-match build-up, match commentary and exclusive pre- and post-match interviews with international managers and players.
Teleitca is available via channel 7 on terrestrial linear TV in Costa Rica. Alternatively, football fans in the country can stream the channel and all of its World Cup coverage through the Teletica website or app.
The Teletica app can be downloaded for free onto smart devices in Costa Rica, including smartphones and tablets. In addition to live streaming, fans also catch up on World Cup content on demand via the app.
