О Copa por Mexico

Copa por Mexico — история, формат, организация, освещение в СМИ

Copa por México — это товарищеский турнир, созданный Мексиканской футбольной федерацией (FMF). Изначально он был запущен как подготовительное соревнование перед возобновлением футбольных матчей в Мексике после паузы, вызванной пандемией COVID-19. Однако в дальнейшем его подхватили команды Лиги MX, чтобы набрать форму перед матчами чемпионата после длительных перерывов, таких как пандемия или Чемпионат мира 2022 года.

В турнире участвует ограниченное количество команд Лиги MX. В первом розыгрыше участвовали восемь команд, разделенные на две группы, а во втором — десять клубов, также распределенные по двум группам. Победители и команды, занявшие вторые места в каждой группе, проходят в следующую стадию, где победитель определяется в серии пенальти.

Любопытно, что в обоих розыгрышах Copa por México в финале встречались одни и те же команды: Крус Асуль и Гвадалахара. Оба турнира выиграл Крус Асуль.

Телевизионные права на трансляцию этого соревнования в США были переданы TUDN USA. В Мексике турнир можно было смотреть на TUDN México и через Sky Sports, а мобильная платформа Blue to Go Video Everywhere обеспечивала трансляции для пользователей мобильных устройств.
