Egyptian Premier League Geschichte, Format, Organisation, Medienberichterstattung
Die ägyptische Premier League (Arabisch: الدوري المصري الممتاز) ist die höchste professionelle Fußballliga in Ägypten. Sie wurde 1948 gegründet und wird vom ägyptischen Fußballverband (EFA) organisiert.
Die Liga funktioniert nach dem Auf- und Abstiegssystem und wird von 18 Mannschaften bestritten. Klubs aus diesem Wettbewerb können an der jährlichen CAF Champions League und dem Confederation Cup teilnehmen.
