Live streaming and TV options for 2026 season
The free-to-air national broadcaster secured the deal in April 2026 and will air all 104 matches from the tournament on linear television, including the opening match on 11 June and the final on 19 July.
Since securing the deal for exclusivity, VTV have attempted to sublicense matches to a host of pay-TV providers in Vietnam, just as they did for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
According to local reports, VTV have doubled the cost for such a deal, which may result in them broadcasting the entire tournament on their own.
All World Cup matches shown live on VTV will include Vietnamese-language commentary and studio analysis from a team of pundits. In the past, the team has included Vu Quang Huy and Nguyen Quoc Khanh.
Away from live action, VTV will cover the tournament in other ways. Their regular news bulletins will keep viewers informed of the latest World Cup stories on a daily basis, while their social media channels are anticipated to do the same.
Live and on-demand streaming of VTV’s World Cup coverage is available on VTV Go. The streaming service is available online via a web browser and through an app, which can be downloaded for free onto smartphones, tablets and smart TVs in Vietnam.
Vietnam Television airs World Cup matches on VTV 3, VTV Go, VTV10 or VTV2.
The broadcaster has struck a partnership agreement with VTV, the exclusive FIFA World Cup rights holder, allowing TV360 to simulcast all 104 games from the historic 48-team World Cup taking place in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
This includes everything from the opening game between Mexico and South Africa on June 11 to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium on July 19. While Vietnam failed to qualify for the tournament, viewers can still watch Asian heavyweights such as Japan, South Korea, and Australia live in action.
Furthermore, TV360 will also broadcast World Cup games featuring Lionel Messi’s Argentina, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, Lamine Yamal’s Spain, Kylian Mbappé’s France, Neymar’s Brazil, Harry Kane’s England, and many others on digital screens in Vietnam. TV360 viewers can expect promotional FIFA World Cup programs and special experience packages.
TV360 is available via subscription, which may be bundled with Viettel’s mobile data plans. Once subscribed, viewers in Vietnam can stream live FIFA World Cup matches on TV360 using a variety of internet-connected devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, and Android boxes. This can be done through the platform’s official website or the TV360 app, available on both Android and iOS.
