The Belarusian Cup is an annual knockout tournament organized by Football Federation of Belarus. It was launched in 1992 and has included clubs from the top three categories in Belarusian football, along with some amateur teams that have earned the right to play the tournament by winning regional tournaments.
Over the years, the Belarusian Cup has been played in six rounds. All stages are decided in a single match with the only exception of the semifinals, which are played in two legs. The final match is usually taken to a neutral venue, where the teams involved sort things out with extra time and penalties being used to determine the winner in case of a draw after 90 minutes.
The winner of the Belarusian Cup gets a double reward for their performance in this competition, as they qualify to both the Belarusian Super Cup and to the early stages of the UEFA Europa League. The most successful team in this tournament is BATE Borisov, who have reached the title clash over ten times.
Coverage for this competition in Belarus has been awarded to Belarus 5, a state-owned free-to-air channel until 2026.
