WatchLOI is a subscription-based video streaming service that streams live football matches in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and internationally. It serves as the Airtricity League Premier Division’s official streaming platform. It was created following a partnership between the Football Association of Ireland, Irish broadcaster RTE Sport, and IPTV service GAAGO.
WatchLOI’s primary goal is to provide online coverage of every Airtricity League match, in addition to the FAI Cup. Broadcasts are made available through RTE Sport’s high-definition cameras and commentary team. Classic matches from the Republic of Ireland’s national football team are also offered exclusively to users around the world, outside the Island of Ireland.
WatchLOI is available online, on Apple and Android smartphones, smart TVs, and it supports casting devices. Apple users are recommended to use devices that run at least iOS9, whereas Android users are advised to use Android OS 4.4 or above. In the past, season ticket holders have been allowed to stream WatchLOI on multiple devices, albeit with minor limitations, such as having to view different matches on separate devices under the same subscription.
The published listings of live, re-aired, and on-demand match and program events published on this website are broadcast by the official rights holders. They are available on various platforms such as terrestrial TV, radio, cable, satellite, IPTV, mobile and desktop apps.
