Syn holds the non-exclusive broadcast rights for the UEFA Champions League in Iceland, after the broadcaster agreed a deal for the 2024-2027 cycle. The agreement means that Syn is sharing Champions League coverage with Viaplay in Iceland.
Syn’s Champions League coverage is free for Síminn customers in Iceland but is subscription-based for everyone else in the region.

Syn is the exclusive rights holder of the English Premier League in Iceland in a deal that runs until the end of the 2027-28 season. With the exception of a couple of seasons, Syn has had the rights to the English top flight since 1997.
As part of the deal, all Premier League matches in Iceland can be watched exclusively on Stöð 2 Sport, a channel that was created in 2007 specifically to be the home of English football in Iceland.

Sýn Sport, the sports network owned by the Icelandic telecommunications and media company Sýn, is the official broadcaster of the Besta deild karla in Iceland.
