Кубок Аргентины — это клубный турнир, организованный Аргентинской футбольной ассоциацией. В нем участвуют профессиональные команды из всех категорий.
Первая редакция Кубка Аргентины состоялась в 1969 году, но после двух розыгрышей турнир был приостановлен на 41 год. Лишь в 2011 году соревнование было возобновлено в новом формате, и в нем смогли участвовать команды из всей футбольной системы Аргентины. Более 180 команд из этой южноамериканской страны приняли участие в турнире.
Для удобства всех участников турнирная сетка разделена на две группы по 32 команды, которые играют матчи на выбывание до определения чемпиона. Расписание матчей в этом турнире часто меняется из-за большого количества соревнований, в которых участвуют аргентинские клубы. В итоге победитель турнира получает место в Кубке Либертадорес.
Турнир освещается по всему миру благодаря предыдущим телевизионным контрактам с Fox Sports и TyC Sports, которые также предоставили свои трансляции на стриминговых сервисах, таких как Fanatiz.
Бока Хуниорс навсегда останется единственной аргентинской командой в истории, которая выиграла титул Кубка Аргентины как в его первом розыгрыше, так и после его возобновления.
