2022-2025
Commercial broadcaster Canal Plus has secured English Premier League media rights in the Czech Republic and Slovakia from 2022 to 2025 following a three-year deal. The international broadcaster successfully negotiated sub-licensing rights with T-Mobile Czech Republic, DIGI Slovakia, and Slovak Telekom to show all 380 Premier League matches each season on its Canal Plus Sport channel (Canal+ Sport).
In addition to watching Premier League games on Canal+ Sport, subscribers using Skylink in the Czech Republic and Slovakia can stream matches on multiple devices, including mobiles and tablets (Android and iOS after downloading the Skylink Live TV app from Google Play or the App Store), computers (PCs and Macs using Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge web browsers), and smart TVs (using the Skylink Live TV app). Fans can stream Premier League ties on up to two different devices simultaneously, and on-demand streaming of a particular game is available for up to seven days post-match.
Fans not using Skylink can also stream matches using Canal Plus’s streaming service, Canal+, which is also compatible with multiple devices after downloading it from Google Play, the App Store, or the Amazon App Store.
