Sky Sports is broadcasting all 93 Carabao Cup matches every season in the UK from 2024/25 to 2028/29. Coverage includes Sky Sports UK television channels and streaming on NOW TV, catering to a wide audience base, including those without Sky subscriptions.

2024-2029

Sky Sports UK has secured the rights to broadcast a minimum of 328 matches from the Sky Bet Championship annually over five years, starting with the 2024/25 season and extending through to the 2028/29 season. The English Championship coverage spans Sky Sports channels and NOW TV, providing contract-free access for non-Sky subscribers in the United Kingdom.

The broadcasting approach employs a minimum of eight cameras per game for a more detailed and immersive viewing experience. Official reports indicate that the EFL deal, which comprised a total of 1,059 matches annually across multiple EFL competitions, comprises £895m in guaranteed payments and £40m in marketing benefits.

England - EFL Trophy

2024-2029

The EFL Trophy has all 127 matches broadcast by Sky Sports in the UK each season from 2024/25 to 2028/29. Coverage is available on Sky Sports TV channels and through NOW TV streaming, making the domestic competition available to both Sky subscribers and non-subscribers.

England - League One

2024-2029

Sky Sports UK has committed to broadcasting a minimum of 248 Sky Bet League One matches each season throughout its five-year agreement with the EFL, which covers seasons from 2024/25 to 2028/29. The English League One matches on Sky Sports television channels are also available for streaming on NOW TV, targeting viewers beyond Sky’s traditional subscriber base.

Sky Sports is a group of television sports channels owned by the satellite pay-tv company Sky. Sky Sports is frequently referred to as the dominant sports brand in the United Kingdom and Ireland, mainly because it has played a major role in commercializing British sport since 1991. One of the most notable examples is their influence to create the Premier League in 1992. The first Sky Sports channel was launched on April 20, 1991.

In the past, Sky Sports used to number its channels to facilitate access to their users, but this approach was dropped in 2017, when the company decided to brand its channels with the sport they are dedicated to cover in most cases. 

Sky Ultra HD is a feature included in some of the packages offered by the company to enrich the viewing experience of their subscribers. The first tests of this technology were ran during the 2013-14 Premier League season game between West Ham and Stoke City, and the feature has been included in some of the top packages offered by the company.

In the past, some of the sports competitions that have been available to watch in Ultra HD format include the English Premier League, Formula One races, and cricket games featuring the English National Team.
