OMNI 2, which is also known as CJMT for CJ Multicultural Television, is a Canadian TV network licensed to Toronto, Ontario. It was launched in September 2002.
About OMNI Television
OMNI Television is a Canadian TV network owned by Rogers Media. It operates various channels licensed to different markets within Canada, including the provinces of Alberta, Ontario and British Columbia.
OMNI networks broadcast in high definition and may be available over the air. The terrestrial TV system was first created in 1979 with the launch of CFMT, which got purchased by Rogers in 1986. Over the years, OMNI Television has grown to comprise other channels, including CJCO-DT (in Calgary), CJEO-DT (in Edmonton), CFMT-DT and CJMT-DT (both in Ontario) and CHNM-DT (in Vancouver).
