Movistar + is a Spanish online streaming platform owned and operated by Telefónica. It was launched July 8, 2015 after the merger between the satellite platform Canal+ and the IPTV service Movistar TV.
The online streaming platform has added channels to its grid so fans can watch all their favorite networks on the go via their mobile devices or through their computers. Some of the channels available on this platform over the years have included all of Movistar’s channels, such as Movistar La Liga and Movistar La Liga de Campeones, and other services such as Netflix and Disney+.
Over the years, Movistar + has been able to stream most sports broadcasting rights owned by Telefónica, such as the UEFA Champions League, the Spanish Primera División, and the UEFA Europa League. Other tournaments aired by the network may not be streamed by this platform due to some restrictions.
Movistar + may be available on web browsers such as Edge and Google Chrome. Other options to stream the content provided by this service include mobile devices that work with Android and iOS.
