Izzi México is a telecommunications company from Mexico, which is owned and operated by Grupo Televisa. It was known around the country as Cablevisión since its launch in 1968, but it was rebranded to Izzi in 2015 as the services offered by the company increased.
Over the years, Izzi México has established itself as one of the segment’s leaders due to the number of services the company offers. Izzi has added internet and telephone services to the pay-tv offer owned by Cablevisión in the past, giving the company a chance to offer triple-play packages. Video-On-Demand, DVR, and other features have also been included by Izzi as time has gone by. A mobile app named Izzi Go also enables users to watch content for the channels included in their package while on-the-go.
Speaking about the channels Izzi Mexico offers, the company has included free-to-air channels, entertainment networks, sports channels, movie channels, educational channels, kids channels, and more. Some of the channels included in Izzi’s packages can be viewed in HD, while some others can be watched in Standard Definition.
When it comes to sports, Izzi Mexico has included some of the top sports networks in the world for their users to enjoy. Some of the channels included in this service over the years have included TUDN, Fox Sports, ESPN, Afizzionados, the NFL Network, and more. All the broadcasting rights owned by each channel will be available for users to watch when they decide to sign a deal with Izzi.
