Broadcast Rights

Competitions available on GloboEsporte.com

The Brasileirão Serie A is available through Globo’s pay-per-view service under a four-season deal from 2025-26 to 2028-29, following an agreement between the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and two club associations. This contract grants Globo the rights to broadcast a select number of live matches per round through its Premiere platform, with at least nine out of ten matches per matchday available via pay-per-view.
More details

Globo holds the broadcast rights for all Brasileirão clubs, but match distribution varies between free-to-air television and pay-TV depending on the club’s association. Teams affiliated with LIBRA include Atlético-MG, Bahia, Flamengo, Grêmio, Palmeiras, RB Bragantino, São Paulo, Santos, and Vitória, while LFU clubs consist of Botafogo, Corinthians, Ceará, Cruzeiro, Fluminense, Fortaleza, Internacional, Juventude, Mirassol, Sport, and Vasco da Gama.

Along with live broadcasts, Globo provides match highlights and recaps of the games aired on Premiere, with coverage featured in Brasileirão-focused programming and news segments on TV Globo.

Fans who want to watch Brasileirão matches on Premiere need a subscription to a pay-TV service that carries the channel, such as Claro TV, Sky Brasil, Vivo TV, and Oi TV. Alternatively, matches are available via Premiere Play, which is accessible through Globoplay + Premiere and Canais Globo without requiring a traditional pay-TV subscription. The service works on Samsung Smart TVs, Android TV, and LG Smart TVs, as well as on Apple TV, Chromecast, and Fire TV Stick. For streaming on web browsers, Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox are supported, and mobile access is available on Android and iOS devices.
Globo has agreed on a three-year deal with the women’s Campeonato Brasileiro. Each season, Globo will show 40 games from the Brasileiro Feminino. As part of the agreement, the finals stage will be shown on Globo’s free-to-air channel from the second season onwards.

About

GloboEsporte.com history, coverage, features

Globoesporte.com is a sports-focused website owned and operated by Grupo Globo. It was launched in 2003 under the name EsportenaGlobo.com, but it would later be rebranded to Globoesporte on April 23, 2005.

Over the years, the website has offered sports content powered by the network’s media resources, including written articles, streaming live games, podcasts, video highlights, and more. One of the most used features on the website is the Tempo Real feature, which has given users the chance to follow live games as they develop both via minute-by-minute coverage or via live streaming.

Globoesporte.com has offered live streaming for most of the sporting events covered by the network’s linear challenge, but with football being the king in Brazil, sports coverage on this website revolves around this discipline. Some of the events streamed by the website over the years have included Brasileirao matches, games for the Brazilian National Football team, state championships, and FIFA World Cup coverage, including live games. Additional coverage has also been provided by globoesporte.com, with highlights shows and post-match coverage also having presence in the website’s programming.

Globoesporte.com is not only available via the regular website, as mobile apps provide access to users while on-the go. The mobile version of the website and the Android app have served the purpose to bring globoesporte.com’s content to users even if they are not close to a personal computer.
