About C More Sport HD

C More Sport is a pay television network from Sweden, which is owned and operated by TV4. It was launched on May 1, 2004 when C More decided to launch thematic channels for films and sports. This channel was previously named Canal+ Sport, but that changed in 2006 when it was rebranded to Canal+ Sport 1. Eventually, when C More Entertainment and TV4 took over, the channel would be given the name C More Sport in 2012.

Over the years, C More Sport has been considered as C More’s main sports channel. The top competitions to which the company has broadcasting rights have been usually aired on this channel. The network has covered competitions and games for disciplines such as hockey, football, tennis, basketball, mixed martial arts, motorsports, and more, but with hockey’s relevance in the country being massive, most of the programming shown on C More Sport has had something to do with that discipline.

Speaking about football, C More Sport has covered some of the top club competition in the world over the years, including La Liga, the Italian Serie A, the Portuguese Primeira Liga, the MLS, and the Argentine Primera División. Furthermore, club channels such as Arsenal TV, Barca TV, Chelsea TV, and Real Madrid TV have also been available for users to watch. Added to that, C More Sport has also aired national team tournaments such as the UEFA Nations League and the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Football coverage has been divided between C More Sport and some of its sister channels, such as C More Live, C More Sport 1, and C More Fotball.

C More Sport was launched as a Standard Definition channel, but with the network developed a High-Definition feed that was launched in 2012 to go with the channel’s rebranding. Both feeds might still be available in some regions for users to watch.
