A Spor is a sports television channel from Turkey, owned and operated by the Turkuvaz Media Group. It was launched on September 18, 2014. It became the first free-to-air channel to broadcast sports events in High Definition when it saw the light.
Over the years, A Spor has specialized on broadcasting the most popular sports in the country, with special attention placed on football coverage. Other sports covered on this channel have included basketball, volleyball, wrestling, motorsports, tennis, and gymnastics.
Speaking about football, A Spor has focused on broadcasting and covering events related to the Turkish football system, which includes the Super Lig and the First Division. Moreover, the channel has frequently focused its efforts on covering the games and activity of the big clubs in the country such as Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor, and Besiktas.
