Live streaming and TV options for 2026 season

TelevisaUnivision
Season 2034
Soccer fans in the United States can watch Mexico’s 2034 FIFA World Cup qualifying games live on the major Spanish-language sports channel, TUDN. The channel’s parent company, TelevisaUnivision, secured these rights as part of a larger eight-year deal spanning two countries (the United States and Mexico), with TUDN handling stateside coverage.

This deal was established through an audiovisual rights agreement made in April 2026. It covers the 2026 to 2034 TV cycle, thus including Mexico’s World Cup qualifiers for both the 2030 and 2034 editions, as well as other friendly matches.

Unlike in Mexico, TelevisaUnivision’s coverage is not widely available for free, as TUDN is a premium sports channel. To watch Mexico’s 2034 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches on TUDN, viewers in the USA will require a subscription to partnered third-party cable, satellite, or streaming television providers with carriage deals.

This has historically included some of the largest TV providers in the United States, such as Dish Network, AT&T U-verse, Fubo, DirecTV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, Cox, Xfinity, Spectrum, and others. However, availability is subject to change.

Some of TUDN’s content may also be available on the TelevisaUnivision-owned premium streaming service, ViX. Fans in the USA can stream Mexico’s games on the streaming services of partnered TV providers or via the TUDN app and website. The latter two options are available for free to authenticated users who have subscriptions with participating U.S. television providers.

Season 2030
TelevisaUnivision has secured the broadcast rights to Mexico’s 2030 FIFA World Cup qualifying games across the two most important North American markets, thanks to an eight-year deal struck in early 2026.

This audiovisual rights agreement spans the 2026 to 2034 TV cycle, covering not only the 2030 World Cup qualifiers but also the 2034 edition. Additionally, the package includes the rights to El Tri’s friendly fixtures during the same period.

While viewers in TelevisaUnivision’s other market, Mexico, will enjoy free-to-air coverage, soccer fans in the USA can watch Mexico’s 2030 FIFA World Cup qualifying games live on the premium Spanish-language sports channel, TUDN.

To watch El Tri’s games live on TUDN, U.S. viewers require a subscription to partnered cable, satellite, or streaming television providers, as the channel is not offered directly to consumers (though some content may be available on the TelevisaUnivision-owned premium streaming service, ViX).

While carriage agreements are subject to change, TUDN has maintained availability across major U.S. TV providers such as Dish Network, AT&T U-verse, Fubo, DirecTV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, Cox, Xfinity, Spectrum, and more.

Viewers in the USA can also access TUDN and its live sports content via the Internet on the TUDN app and the channel’s official website. Both are available for free for authenticated users who have subscriptions with participating U.S. television providers.

Seasons 2023-2030
The Warner Bros. Discovery-owned Turner Sports has acquired exclusive English-language broadcast rights in the USA to the U.S. men’s national team’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers. This acquisition comes through an eight-year major media rights deal with U.S. Soccer, covering both the men’s and women’s national teams, running from the 2023 to 2030 cycle.

As a result, soccer fans in the USA can stream the USMNT’s 2030 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in English live on the HBO Max streaming platform. Select U.S. men’s national team games should also be televised on linear networks TNT and TBS, with those fixtures available via simulcast on HBO Max as well.

It should be noted that the rights deal does not include the 2030 FIFA World Cup finals, should the USA qualify. Additionally, with the USA co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup alongside Canada and Mexico, the USMNT did not participate in the 2026 qualifying campaign.

U.S. soccer fans can stream USWNT games live in English on the official HBO Max website or via the HBO Max app, both of which require a subscription. The platform is accessible on a PC or Mac, while the HBO Max app can be downloaded across various devices.

This includes Android and iOS phones and tablets, Amazon Fire Tablets, smart TVs, select PlayStation and Xbox consoles, streaming and multimedia devices such as Apple TV, Chromecast, and Roku, among others. HBO Max is also available through participating subscription providers, though availability is subject to change.

While HBO Max simulcasts the U.S. men’s national team’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers that are televised by TNT and TBS, the streaming service may not provide 24/7 live channel feeds for either network. For 24/7 access to TNT and TBS, viewers must subscribe to a third-party cable, satellite, or streaming television provider. A subscription to partnered TV providers also grants access to the Watch TBS and Watch TNT streaming apps.

Furthermore, the Turner-owned sports website Bleacher Report has been awarded expansive digital and highlight rights thanks to this deal. As a result, stateside viewers can enjoy USMNT-related content on Bleacher Report, including live event coverage, behind-the-scenes content, potential docuseries, match highlights, and more.
