Storia, formato, organizzazione, copertura mediatica di Egyptian Premier League
La Premier League Egiziana è il massimo campionato professionistico di calcio in Egitto. Fondata nel 1948, è gestita dalla Federazione Calcistica Egiziana (EFA).
Il campionato funziona con il sistema di promozione e retrocessione e vede la partecipazione di 18 squadre. I club della competizione hanno la possibilità di partecipare annualmente alla CAF Champions League e alla Confederations Cup.
