About
OneSoccer history, coverage, features
OneSoccer is a Canadian sports channel dedicated exclusively to football, established in 2019 as a streaming service. The channel emerged from a strategic partnership between Canadian Soccer Business, which manages the commercial rights for the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) and the Canadian Premier League (CPL), and the multimedia communications group, Mediapro. As the primary broadcaster for Canada’s men’s and women’s national soccer teams, OneSoccer showcases their matches along with prominent Concacaf competitions such as the Gold Cup and Champions Cup. This makes OneSoccer an essential platform for football fans in Canada who want to stay connected with their national teams and major league events.
OneSoccer launched on February 21, 2019, following a significant 10-year agreement with Mediapro, which granted it all media rights related to Canada Soccer. Just two months later, the platform officially began operations, marking its entry into the Canadian soccer broadcasting landscape. The initial broadcast rights acquired included coverage of the Canadian Premier League and the Canadian Championship.
Over time, OneSoccer expanded its offerings by securing rights to key international tournaments, including the 2019–20 Concacaf Nations League season and the Concacaf Gold Cup. In March 2025, the platform announced an exclusive deal for all club and international competitions organized by Concacaf, solidifying its position as a leading sports broadcaster in Canada. This agreement ensures that fans can enjoy a wide range of high-quality soccer content.
Since its inception, OneSoccer has also featured competitions such as the Concacaf Nations League, the Chinese Super League, and Ligue 1 matches from Lille. However, due to the dynamic nature of broadcast rights, some events may no longer be available on the platform. Originally a live and on-demand online channel, OneSoccer announced a linear channel on Optik TV in late 2021 and became accessible through the sports streaming service fuboTV earlier that year.
As a subscription-based channel, OneSoccer provides fans with various ways to access its content via its official website and mobile app, which is available on both Android and iOS devices. The platform is also compatible with popular streaming devices such as Apple TV, Roku, and Chromecast.
