The DFB Junioren Pokal is a German youth cup competition for U19 teams. Participants are the winners of the A-Junior regional cup competitions. The competition was first held in 1987 and was called the DFB-Jugend-Kicker-Pokal until 2002. Originally, the cup was played at the end of the season, but since 2002 it has been played during the season. From 2010 to 2018, the final was held at the Olympiapark Amateur Stadium, and since 2012 it has also taken place on the same day as the DFB Cup final for men, which was played in the evening at the neighboring Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Since 2019, the final has been held in the evening or the day before the men's final at the Karl Liebknecht Stadium in Potsdam.
