Canal Plus is the exclusive digital and linear English Premier League rights holder in the Czech Republic and Slovakia until 2028. The commercial broadcaster first acquired rights to the Premier League in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2022, and following a three-year extension, continues to hold rights from 2025 to 2028.
All 380 Premier League matches from the 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-28 seasons are shown live on Canal Plus’s linear network, Canal+ Sport. In addition, subscribers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia can stream all matches, live and on-demand, on mobiles, tablets, computers, and smart TVs by using Canal Plus’s streaming service, Canal+. Fans can sign up for the “Canal+” package on a monthly or annual basis, depending on preference.
The EPL on Canal+ is available on Android and iOS mobiles, tablets, smart TVs, and computers. Fans can download the streaming app using Google Play, the App Store, or the Amazon Appstore.

Canal+ Sport 2 history, coverage, features
Canal+ Sport 2 is a premium sports TV channel that is available in the Czech Republic in Slovakia.The channel launched in 2024 to provide Canal+ subscribers in these two countries with an additional sports channel following the launch of Canal+ Sport in 2022.
While Canal+ Sport is the broadcaster’s flagship channel, Canal+ Sport 2 provides secondary and supplementary coverage. Over the years, that has included live matches from the English Premier League on Saturdays and Sundays.
In addition to providing live football coverage, the channel also produces highlights shows and magazine shows, while full match replays are also available.
Canal+ Sport 2 is available to watch on linear television in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, while fans can also stream the channel via the Canal+ app, which can be downloaded for free onto smartphones, tablets and other compatible iOS and Android devices.
