About King Cup
The King Cup, known officially as The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, is a Saudi Arabian knockout cup competition. Founded in 1957, it went into hiatus in 1990 only to be relaunched in 2007 as the King Cup of Champions before changing names to the King Cup in 2014. The winner of this tournament earns a ticket to the AFC Champions League.
