The Supercopa do Brasil is a Brazilian association football super cup contested by the Campeonato Brasileiro champions and the Copa do Brasil winners. Similar to other Super Cup tournaments, if the same team wins both trophies, then their opponent becomes the league runners-up. This competition began in 1990 but was abandoned after the 1991 edition only to make its return in 2020.
