TV Net history, coverage, features
TVNET is a Turkish television channel owned and operated by the Albayrak Group. It was launched on April 8, 2005 under the name ATR, but it would be rebranded to TVNET on January 1, 2007. It is one of the 21 channels that have been authorized to air news of national interest.
Over the years, TVNET has focused on airing content related to news, technological magazine shows, debate shows, lifestyle programs, religious shows, sports, and programs with a legal approach.
Speaking about sports, TVNET has centered its coverage on football debate shows. Most of the content aired on this channel regarding football has centered on the Turkish Super Lig via highlights.
TVNET started airing its content in Standard Definition, but a High-Definition feed was developed and eventually launched on September 28, 2014. The network dropped the SD feed in favor of the High-Definition feed, which is the only one available at the moment.
