Sportdigital holds the multi-year digital broadcast rights to the Copa del Rey in Germany through an agreement with the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). The deal covers the 2023-24 season through the end of the 2025-26 edition and allows the German-based streaming platform to show selected matches from the Spanish knockout tournament.

Sportdigital may also produce highlight compilations and use goal replays in its thematic football programming. Match summaries are made available on its website for up to one month following the original broadcast.
Viewers in Germany can watch Copa del Rey matches on Sportdigital live through a pay-TV subscription. The platform is included in the channel lineups of providers such as Sky Deutschland, HD+, Vodafone, Magenta TV, PYUR, DAZN, Amazon Prime Video, Waipu.tv, and Zattoo.

About
sportdigital1+ history, coverage, features
sportdigital is a German television channel which specializes in live sports coverage of different disciplines. It was launched during the spring of 2008 as part of SPORTFIVE. In 2010, Sportfive sold its shares in sportdigital, leaving ownership of the platform entirely to the company known as Digital Sports.sportdigital live is sportdigital’s online streaming service. Most of the content aired by the terrestrial channel is made available for subscribers to the channel both live and on-demand, although some of the content might be restricted due to streaming rights issues.
Over the years, sportdigital has covered a wide variety of sports such as football, basketball, badminton, boxing, hockey, kickboxing, tennis, and more. Nevertheless, the company shifted its focus to cover only “ball sports”, meaning that coverage of fight sports ceased.
Speaking about football, sportdigital has covered some of the world’s most interesting international competitions such as the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Sudamericana, the AFC Champions League, the CONCACAF Champions League, and qualifying matches for both the World Cup and the UEFA European Championship. Furthermore, sportdigital has also aired domestic competitions such as the Portuguese Primeira Liga, the French Ligue 1, the Russian Premier League, the Sky Bet Championship, the Dutch Eredivisie, and the Superliga Argentina, to name a few of their broadcasting rights.
