RBFA App history, coverage, features
The RBFA App is a free mobile phone app owned and created by the Royal Belgian Football Association. The app first launched in 2021 as BBF, but after a string of technical glitches, it was officially relaunched with a new design and better security in 2022 under the name of RBFA.
The main purpose of the app is to provide football fans in Belgium with the latest news on all things Belgian football, from the national football teams to the domestic game in the country, including the Belgian Pro League.
Some of the most used features on the app include live score updates, new articles and a personalised calendar based on each user’s interests.
The app is also the home to video content - both live streams and pre-recorded. The video content on the app is typically used to complement news stories, but exclusive content related to the Belgian national team, including training footage and interviews, has also previously appeared on the app.
In terms of match footage, fans can catch up on Belgian football highlights through the RBFA app, with Flemish and French-language commentary available.
To access the app, users need to download it through the App Store on iOS devices or the Google Play Store on Android devices.
