New World TV (NWTV) has secured non-exclusive French-language broadcast rights in sub-Saharan Africa for the UEFA Champions League until 2027. The Togo-based satellite TV provider’s contract covers the 2024-25 to 2026-27 seasons of the Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Europa Conference League, and the UEFA Youth League.
NWTV’s linear and digital coverage of Champions League games includes exclusive free-to-air and pay-TV coverage, and UCL live streams via mobile phones and other devices. Commentary is available in French and some local dialects across 20-plus territories in sub-Saharan Africa. Fans can watch live Champions League matches on New World TV’s sports networks in regional languages across various sub-Saharan African countries, with commentary in Ewe, Hausa, Swahili, Wolof, Bambara and other African dialects.
