Spain - La Liga

2024-2029

DAZN has retained its exclusive digital LaLiga rights in Portugal from 2024 until 2029. The subscription-based over-the-top (OTT) provider’s deal covers the 2024-25 to 2028-29 LaLiga seasons. DAZN has held LaLiga rights in Portugal since 2018 and notably acquired Eleven’s previous media coverage when it acquired that company in 2023.

As per its five-year deal, DAZN streams all 380 LaLiga matches per season live and on-demand.

Subscribers in Portugal can choose from several packages, including DAZN BASE and DAZN TOTAL. The DAZN BASE option offers access to DAZN’s channels (DAZN 1-6), plus live and on-demand streaming of bonus LaLiga content such as replays, match analysis, and special football shows. However, some mobile phone providers do not offer access to the DAZN app if one opts to subscribe directly through their TV operators.

The DAZN TOTAL package, meanwhile, also offers access to all of DAZN’s channels that are broadcasting LaLiga games. Additionally, subscribers to the DAZN TOTAL option can stream further bonus content, including documentaries, while viewers choosing the DAZN TOTAL package can also access the DAZN app to stream games live and on-demand. Fans can subscribe to the DAZN TOTAL option directly via the DAZN app.

Both plans offer the option to subscribe every month and provide access to watch LaLiga games live on up to two devices at a time. Each plan is also accessible on multiple platforms, including mobiles and tablets (both iOS and Android), smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Android TV), streaming devices (Google Chromecast, Apple TV), PCs, Macs, and gaming devices (Xbox and PlayStation).

Fans not looking to commit to a paid contract can still access LaLiga highlights by signing up for a free account on DAZN’s website.

Italy - Serie A

2024-2027

All Serie A matches are shown live on DAZN to fans in Italy as part of a deal that multiple broadcasters signed ahead of the 2024-25 season.

As part of the deal, 266 of the 380 Serie A matches each season are streamed exclusively live on DAZN via their website and app until the end of the 2028-29 season.

Fans can download the Dazn app onto their iOS and Android devices and stream the live Italian football league matches.

The additional 114 Serie A matches are also shown on DAZN but on a non-exclusive basis. The streaming service additionally provides highlights of each game shortly after they finish.

Football fans in Italy may stream DAZN’s live Serie A matches via TimVision, a separate streaming service.

214 DAZN Zona history, coverage, features

DAZN1 is a satellite channel operated by global OTT subscription service DAZN, which was launched on Sky Italia’s satellite platform in September 2019. The channel was launched to broadcast exclusive Serie A matches, as well as some Serie B matches in HD. At the time of its creation, the satellite channel was not available on Sky’s streaming services, which include NOW TV and Sky Go. However, it was made available to Sky Business subscribers, meaning that games on DAZN1 could be viewed in public premises such as bars, hotels, and restaurants.

The aim behind DAZN1 was also partly to help the main DAZN service in its broadcast of sporting events in Italy on multiple platforms.
