We are getting closer to the end of what has been an electric 2023-24 Serie A season, and even if the championship has already been added to Inter's record, there is still much to decide in the final weeks of action in the top football category in Italy.
Milan seem to be the safe bet to end the season as runners-up, but the real struggle begins at third, with Juventus, Bologna, and even Atalanta having a chance to finish third. The team from Bergamo has an edge over their rivals since they have one additional match to play, but as things stand, Juventus and Bologna seem to be the safest bets to end the season in third, having 66 and 64 points to their names.
Speaking of the relegation battle, there are still five teams facing the drop: Sassuolo, Udinese, Empoli, Frosinone, and Cagliari. Only four points stand between these clubs with nine to play for, so any wins or draws any of these teams can get will be appreciated by their supporters. The only team without any hope to stay in Serie A is Salernitana, who were relegated a couple of weeks ago.
