beIN Sports Arabia is part of a global sports network owned and operated by the beIN Media Group. The terrestrial channels were launched on June 1, 2012, with the Arabic version of the channels seeing the light in 2003. The over-the-top streaming platform known as beIN Sports Connect was launched in 2014 to give users the chance to follow their favorite sports while on-the-go.
As its name states, beIN Sports Connect Arabia covers some of the top sports events taking place all over the world. The focus of the platform has been to stream football content to its viewers, but disciplines such as tennis, handball, basketball, motorsports, and more have been made available to its users over the years.
When it comes to football, beIN Sports Connect Arabia has streamed content from leagues such as La Liga, the English Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, and other top-tier football categories from Europe. American leagues such as the MLS and the Brasileirao have also been available on this streaming platform. Added to that, cup football has included games for the FA Cup or the Coppa Italia on this service over the years.
