The pair inspired the Red Devils to another comeback win in Sunday's league clash with Aston Villa.

For the umpteenth time this season, Manchester United secured yet another comeback win to add to their charge to secure Champions League football for the season. The Red Devils travelled to the Villa Park and were inspired by Bruno Fernandes to secure all three points against Aston Villa, subsequently postponing Manchester City's Premier League coronation.

Just as it has been the case most times this season, Manchester United started proceedings on the wrong foot, conceeding Bertrand Traore's brilliant curler inside the 24th minute. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men had all to play for in the second half and in a bid to secure an equalizer, were awarded a penalty following Douglas Luiz's foul on Paul Pogba. Bruno Fernandes subsequently stepped up to score what was a club-record 13th penaltiy for the Red Devils in all competitions this season. The Portuguese also matched Frank Lampard's record for most goals scored by a Premier League midfielder in a single season (27) as a result.

Four minutes after Bruno's strike, Mason Greenwood completed the comeback for the Old Trafford with a low finish to become the teenager with the most Premier League goals in the history of Manchester United. With what was his 16th in the competition, he surpassed Wayne Rooney's record of 15 goals as a result.

The young English attacker was shortly replaced by Edinson Cavani and the Uruguayan's accurate header from Rashford's cross eventually sealed a positive week for United. No player has now scored more Premier League goals as a substitute in a single season for the club than the former Paris Saint-Germain star.
