He only signed an extension last summer but the World Cup winner is reportedly pondering leaving the Spanish outfit.

Despite having signed a new deal last summer, Antoine Griezmann is being linked with an Atletico Madrid exit once more. This time, he is tipped to move to the Premier League instead of rival Barcelona, according to Sport.

After a prolonged transfer saga, the Frenchman committed his future to Los Rojiblancos last June and starred in a documentary about his decision to remain in the Spanish capital. Fast forward to today, however, and the World Cup winner appears to have had a change in heart.

One of the biggest reasons for this is Atletico's recent Champions League exit. Despite holding a 2-0 advantage from the first leg, Simeone's men lost 3-0 in the reverse fixture to a Cristiano-inspire Juventus to crash out of the tournament. Furthermore, given that they trail Barcelona by 10 points in La Liga, Griezmann and Co. are unlikely to get their hands on silverware this term.

With the Frenchman lacking world-class team-mates at the Wanda Metropolitano and the likes of Godin and Hernandez tipped to leave, Antoine is pondering whether he shoul jump ships as well. This is where Man United enters the picture.

The Premier League outfit leading the race to land the 27-year-old is none other than the Red Devils. Many have assessed that Solskjaer's side is one or two world-class signings away from being a title contender and Griezmann would fit that bill.

Furthermore, the presence of Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba would make his integration at Old Trafford go smoothly. However, Man United should expect competition from Bayern Munich, another interested club, while PSG has also been mentioned despite their FFP issues.
