The Belgian striker admitted that he's been getting advice from some legendary strikers to improve in front of goal

Romelu Lukaku is fighting to become the Premier League's best scorer, tied with several players that have also scored three goals in three games. But that wouldn't be possible without the help of some elite friends who have helped him realize what he's doing right and what he can improve on a football pitch.

The Belgian player revealed the names of three Premier League Golden Boot winners that are in his corner day in and day out, even sharing some tough comments on his game. The player that have been involved in this process are none others than Thierry Henry, Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka.

Henry was by Lukaku's side during the World Cup, and there, former Chelsea team-mate Didier Drogba would join them to exchange ideas on how to improve his game.

"At the World Cup, he was at the hotel almost all the time. Can you imagine at the hotel for the World Cup, where we were staying in Russia? I had Thierry there and Didier here and I had to sit here and take everything in: 'You did this wrong and you did that wrong, but this you did okay," Lukaku told BBC Sport.

Then, he referred to Anelka's influence, which really stands out due to the fact that they shared little time together at Chelsea.

"Sometimes when I see Nico as well, those three are the guys when I grew up, they were like my everything," the player added.

Sometimes, their advice is not flattering for the Belgian striker, but his mentors know he will not take it personal.

"Those guys, they have what I want and they tell me all the time 'you are dangerous, because you are stronger than we were' and I debate about pace with Thierry all the time. To be schooled by Thierry, Didier and Nico is the best thing that's happened to me," Lukaku concluded.
