The Belgian shot-stopper aimed a fresh dig at his former club following his debut with Los Blancos on Saturday's clash.

If anyone had a doubt regarding how bad a relationship Chelsea and Thibaut Courtois had, these words might end that debate.

Speaking in an interview published by the Daily Mail, Courtois had some unflattering words towards his former team-mates, comparing their quality to that showed by Real Madrid's footballers.

"In training, you see that the level at Real Madrid is high. I am now experiencing on a daily basis that Sergio Ramos is the best centre back in the world. The level at Real Madrid is higher than at Chelsea," Courtois stated.

These words by Courtois may have been caused by Chelsea's lack of disposition to let the footballer leave last summer, in order for the shot-stopper to spend more time with his kids. Nevertheless, we might expect a rather harsh reaction from The Blues' execs and his former team-mates.

Courtois has only played one game for Real Madrid, and he's battling for a regular spot in the team's lineup with 3-time UEFA Champions League winner with Los Blancos, Keylor Navas.
