Pogba teased Leo over Kante's 'He stopped Messi' song. Here's how the Argentine responded.

With both Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba not taking part in the ongoing international break, the two headed off to Dubai for holiday during the break in club football. The Argentine and French stars were fortunate enough to cross paths, spending time with each other at Salt Bae's restaurant.

The two were caught on camera enjoying deep long conversations and a couple of jokes, but one in particular stood out. As written by the Sun and a number of other sources, the issue of that unforgettable N'Golo Kante chant came up.

Remember when the Chelsea midfielder put in an excellent display in the World Cup clash with Argentina to thwart La Pulga and his team-mates en route to a 4-3 round of 16 win? That performance merited the humble ace a song which contains the line "He stopped Messi".

Pogba was one of many to serenade N'Golo with that now famous chant during Les Bleus' title celebrations and the Man United star brought this up in his chat with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner. The 31-year-old legend immediately responded to it after being poked fun at by the World Cup winner, laughing out loud before saying "That's a lie!"

Many would disagree with Leo's assessment, though. However, the Camp Nou icon has shaken off the Russia 2018 nightmare and has begun the season well with the Blaugrana.

Nonetheless, Barcelona's form this season has left a lot to be desired this term. Valverde's side has thus been linked with a number of quality transfer targets, one of them being none other than Pogba.

After bonding with Messi in the Gulf, is the former Juventus sensation now ready to team up with the Argentine in La Liga? Only time will tell, but Red Devils fans might understandably be more worried over the Frenchman's future.
