The Red Devils are readying a fat check to secure the service of one of Europe's hottest talents.

Premier League outfit Manchester United has reportedly prioritized the signing of Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho this summer. The Red Devils are said to have been quoted a fee of 80 million pounds by the German club who aims to keep the English sensation for at least another season.

Manchester United has experienced unprecedented renaissance following the arrival of interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Despite its attacking line being hailed as one of the best in Europe at the moment, the Old Trafford outfit hopes to bolster its ranks with the dawn of a new era beckoning.

In recent weeks, the Red Devils have been linked with moves for attacking targets including out-of-favor Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho as well as former Manchester City prodigy Jadon Sancho. According to UK media outlet Independent, the entourage of the former has established contact with the Premier League outfit about a potential move.

Nonetheless, reports indicate that Manchester United does not see the Brazilian's recruitment as very significant. As a result, the club would rather push for the signing of Sancho whose profile, they believe, fits the club's ongoing project.

In contrast, Borussia Dortmund is happy with the teenager's development and would want to see him stay for at least one more season. However, Die BVB will be open to part ways with the Englishman should a mammoth offer be tabled for a player they signed for a reported £8 million ($10m) in 2017.
