Both English giants are expected to present bids for the highly-rated Portuguese footballer.

Bruno Fernandes' massive season has not gone unnoticed to some of the top clubs in Europe, and with the transfer season getting closer each day, there seems to be a good battle cooking up to lure this player away to the Premier League.

According to a report by A Bola, the talented midfielder is being followed closely by the two English giants, and with Sporting's need to sell players to solve their financial situation, Fernandes' transfer seems to be the right thing to do.

The footballer was linked to Liverpool last week, but this time, the team that has been linked with the Portuguese midfielder is none other than the Red Devils.

In order to see the footballer joining either team, the Portuguese club has established a $118M buyout clause on the player's deal, which might fend off the interest of some teams.

Fernandes has scored 22 goals for Sporting in all competitions. Added to that, he has handed out nine assists in the Portuguese top flight, cementing his place as one of the team's best performers.

Will the player's massive buyout clause cause either one of these EPL giants to think twice about hiring the 24-year-old? We will have our answer on that matter in the next few months!
