The Brazilian left back may be nearing the end of his spell with Los Blancos.

Real Madrid left back Marcelo has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave. The 30-year-old Brazilian is said to have met with the management of the Spanish heavyweights twice this week to discuss the prospect of securing a move away this summer, as per Marca.

Marcelo joined Los Blancos in 2007 from Brazilian side Fluminense and has since played an integral role in the club's success story till date. However, the appointment of Santiago Solari - which followed the sack of Julen Lopetegui earlier this season - has seen the left back's chances of featuring in the starting eleven cut short.

With Marcelo consistently failing to impress when given the nod in recent times, his Argentine manager has found a new first-choice left back in Real Madrid Castilla graduate Sergio Regulion. This, according to Marca, has led the Brazilian to have a change of heart despite stating his desire to possibly end his career at Madrid back in September 2018.

Amid the latest development, Marcelo is reportedly weighing up the idea of reuniting with his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus. Multiple reports from Italy suggest that the Bianconeri is also interested in doing business with Real Madrid for the signature of the full back.

The Old Ladies are said to be willing to pay the Spanish club 45 million euros and will look to offer the player a contract worth 12 million-a-year. However, Marca has stated that Los Blancos will potentially be holding out for a fee not less than 70 million euros.
