The Argentine ace was spotted at the stadium's luxury box, as revealed earlier this week by the Spanish press.

Earlier this week, word got out in the Spanish press about some top-caliber players that were ready to watch the Copa Libertadores final live at the Bernabeu. Today, those rumors were confirmed, as Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann were among the biggest names in attendance that made it to the Spanish capital to watch the game.

Messi's presence was well documented by those close to his box, with fans immediately noticing him and treating him to some supportive words.

Griezmann was spotted at the stadium with a Boca Juniors' jersey, making it perfectly clear which team he was rooting for. He was joined by Diego Godín in his luxury box.

Juventus' footballers also were invited to a box. Leonardo Bonucci, Paulo Dybala and Giorgio Chiellini were among those in attendance.

Former River coach Diego Simeone was also spotted among those in attendance.
