The Englishman poked fun at the Red Devils with a little poem on Twitter before quickly taking it down.

On Sunday, all the bragging rights went to Man City, as the Citizens beat Man United in the Manchester Derby. The league leader hosted their neighbor in a highly-anticipated weekend clash that did not disappoint, with Guardiola's men emerging victorious.

David Silva broke the deadlock in the Etihad Stadium encounter. The Spaniard completed a beautiful move to ensure the host went into the break with a 1-0 lead. Sergio Aguero scored the second, finding the back of the net with a thunderous strike before İlkay Gündoğan added the third after Anthony Martial pulled one back for the Red Devils.

The victory means Man City now boasts a whopping 12-point lead over 20-time Premier League winner and maintained their two-point lead at the top. This was enough content for Kyle Walker to poke fun at Mourinho's side.

The English right-back took to Twitter to mock Man United, trolling to Old Trafford side in a tweet claiming dominance in Manchester. The Three Lions ace later deleted that post, but it was too little too late, as screenshots had already been taken.

The full-back wrote: "Our opponent was red, we heard the away fans boo, we're twelve points ahead, and just like violets, Manchester is blue."

Here was Walker's tweet, which he has since taken down

While the defender might have regretted tweeting this, it is hard to argue against his claim. The 3-1 triumph helped maintain the defending champion's unbeaten run, as they go from strength to strength in their bid to win a second consecutive English top-flight crown.

As for Jose's men, this was a slip-up amid their upturn in fortunes. They enjoyed wins over Everton and Bournemouth before beating Juventus in the Champions League. However, this result leaves them in the eighth spot, with the same 12 points separating them from Man City being the difference between Man United and the relegation zone.
