We are well aware of who the finalists where. But how did the rest of the players rank before the winner was announced?

If Lionel Messi's absence from FIFA's gala was enough insult to his fans, the final results of football's governing body awards could make some of his supporters cringe.

After Luka Modric took home FIFA's The Best Award in the Mens' category, the final results were made public by the entity. The Croatian maestro took home the award after being handed 29.05% of the votes, followed by Cristiano Ronaldo at 19.08% and Mohamed Salah's 11.23% of the points.

What really stands out is that Lionel Messi wasn't able to reach the fourth spot, as he was only awarded 9.81% of the votes. Kylian Mbappé gathered more than "La Pulga", with his final tally being revealed at 10.52%.

Antoine Griezmann (6th), Eden Hazard (7th), Kevin de Bruyne (8th), Raphael Varane (9th) and Harry Kane (10th) completed the list. Here's the final average for each player.
