The PSG star has tipped Pep Guardiola's side to succeed once again but ruled out a Top 4 finish for Liverpool.

Neymar Jr has dived into the debate regarding who has what it takes to win this season's English Premiership. The winger, who completed a world-record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain last summer, has seemingly been keeping tabs on the English top-flight league although his latest inference may possibly stir up a backlash among certain fanbases.

Currently, Liverpool sits atop the league log after successfully winning their first four opening games. Chelsea and Watford follow suit with 12 points as well and Manchester City comes in to complete the top four after accumulating 10 points.

Last season's second and third placed sides Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are currently ranked 10th and 5th with six and nine points respectively. Upon being asked about the teams he believe will still be in the top 4 come the end of the Premier League season, Neymar said:

"Who will win it? Woah, that's difficult," he is quoted as saying U.K tabloid The Express.

"It's very hard, it's very difficult, but Manchester City will win it. The second will be United, third is Chelsea. Fourth is Tottenham."

Considering the form that Liverpool is in, many believe the 26-year-old Brazilian deliberately left them out in a bid to provoke a reaction from the club's fans. It is worth noting that the Paris Saint-Germain stalwart and his teammate will come face-to-face with Jurgen Klopp's side in the group stage of this season's UEFA Champions League.
