Argentina continue preparing for their involvement in the 2022 FIFA World Cup with a couple of friendly games. The first one of those will be taking place on Friday, as La Albiceleste get ready to lock horns with Honduras.

The team led by Lionel Scaloni will enter the competition as one of the title contenders, but to do so, they must prove they are worth of such a title with some emphatic wins en route to Qatar. With that in mind, the South American side will hold these matches against teams that should not represent a major challenge, especially since they have not qualified to the tournament set to be played in December.

Honduras will get to this game after a disastrous World Cup Qualifying campaign which concluded with no wins and only four points after 14 games played. Fabian Coito was the first one, and Hernán Darío Gómez was the other one after failing to turn things around for the Central American side.

The game is set to take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, where fans will be able to watch some of the most talented players from the Argentine squad, including none other than Lionel Messi.
