Despite being back heavily by Spurs over the summer, the Italian manager has reportedly been contacted by one of Europe's biggest clubs and is open to a move.

Antonio Conte has begun the 2022/23 Premier League season extremely well, with Tottenham being one of only two teams yet to lose a game this campaign. Additionally, the north London giants entered the international break third in the table and, in the eyes of many fans and pundits, could be a serious challenger for the title.

However, despite all of this, Spurs could reportedly lose their highly-rated tactician despite having hired him less than a year ago. This is according to reports coming out of Italy which claim that the 53-year-old could make a return to Serie A this summer.

And to no one's surprise, the club being linked with the Premier League-winning manager is Juventus. The Old Lady, Conte's former club, are currently under Massimiliano Allegri but Antonio's countryman is struggling at the Allianz Stadium.

With only two wins from their opening seven fixtures, the Bianconeri sit in seventh in the Italian top-flight. Additionally, after losing their opening two UEFA Champions League matches, calls for Allegri to be sacked have hit a new high.

Initially, the board was set to reject the demand for a managerial change but Juventus' weekend defeat away to newly-promoted and relegation-battling Monza has allegedly sparked crisis talks in Turin.

As a result, the club could part ways would Allegri and would want a reunion with Conte should that occur. Meanwhile, Antonio is reportedly open to a Juventus return, though a move back to the Italian giants would only be likely this summer.

The Spurs boss will enter the final year of his Tottenham contract this summer, making an early departure from London more plausible. Additionally, well-known Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri claims that the Old Lady have already initiated contact with Conte, which will worry the Premier League outfit.

A lot might depend on what happens at Tottenham between now and the end of the season. As mentioned earlier, Kane and Co. are third in the league and will be hoping to get their hands on silverware. However, they will be in for a tough challenge straight after the international break as they will travel to Arsenal for the North London Derby next round.
