The German coach did not hold back when speaking about his team's woeful loss at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium to start their run in the tournament.

It was one of the worst nights for Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League, and with such a heavy loss on their backs, coach Klopp did not feel the need to sugarcoat it.

The German coach made an honest analysis on the game his team lost to Napoli, and even though he gave credit to his rivals, the former Borussia Dortmund boss admitted his team really needs to step it up if they want to return to the heights they reached under him not so long ago.

Added to that, Klopp stated his team deserved a little more luck in front of goal, but even if they had scored more goals tonight, the team failed to shift the tides in their favor when Alisson was able to save Victor Osimhen's penalty.
